A National Roundtable Organization
WHY PE
Student-athletes are surrounded by information, but not always the right conversations.
They’re told how to train, how to compete, how to perform under pressure—but rarely are they given consistent, real-world guidance on what comes next. Financial decisions, identity beyond sport, career direction, personal responsibility, and the reality of life after athletics often get pushed aside until it’s too late.
Too many athletes are left to figure it out on their own. Not because people don’t care—but because the right structure hasn’t been in place.
PE exists to change that.
I started The Players’ Equity after seeing a consistent gap between athletic development and life development. As someone who has lived inside competitive sports and later worked around financial education and professional environments, I kept seeing the same pattern: talented athletes being asked to make adult decisions without adult-level context.
That gap is not small. And it shows up in ways that matter long after the final whistle.
PE was built to create a different kind of conversation.
We bring student-athletes into live, honest roundtables with people who have actually lived what comes next—former athletes, financial professionals, legal experts, and mentors who understand both performance and life beyond sport. Not theory. Not lectures. Real dialogue.
These aren’t presentations. They’re conversations built around trust, perspective, and experience.
The goal is simple: help athletes think clearer, earlier, and beyond the game.
At the center of PE is the belief that athletes don’t need more noise—they need better access. Better voices. Better questions. Better frameworks for making decisions that will shape their lives long after sport ends.
When athletes are equipped with that kind of perspective, everything changes. How they approach money changes. How they think about identity changes. How they prepare for careers changes. And most importantly, how they define success changes.
PE is still growing. But the mission is clear.
We’re building a national network of roundtables designed to connect student-athletes with the people who can help them think like professionals—on and off the field.
Because the goal isn’t just to develop better athletes.
It’s to help develop better decision-makers for life.
That is our why.
